Nigerian singer Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, popularly known as Skales, has shared a personal testimony about a challenging period in his music career, revealing how faith played a key role in his professional revival.
Speaking during a church service, the singer described the early months of the year as particularly difficult, saying he fasted intensely and prayed earnestly over the stagnation of his career and the ridicule he faced from some quarters.
Skales recounted that although he and his team had plans in place, God had a different path in store. He cited the emergence of Barcelona football prodigy Lamine Yamal, whose viral dance video marked a turning point in his journey.
He further revealed that several prayer requests he had made were miraculously answered in a single day, a moment he described as both humbling and surreal. The singer added that he soon found himself editing a global advertisement for Adidas, an opportunity he had never anticipated.
