Popular media personality Frank Edoho has denied allegations recently circulated against him in the public space, describing the claims as false and stating that he would address the matter through legal channels.
In a statement released amid growing public reactions and commentary, Edoho said he was aware of the attention generated by the allegations but maintained that the accusations lacked merit.
“Over the past few days, a number of grave allegations concerning my person have been circulated in the public space. I am fully aware of the concern, commentary, and attention this has generated. Let me state, clearly and unequivocally, that the allegations made against me are false,” he stated.
The television host further noted that he would refrain from engaging in public exchanges over the issue, stressing that restraint should not be mistaken for weakness. According to him, the matter would be resolved through lawful means where facts would prevail over public speculation.
“At moments such as this, experience teaches that not every accusation merits a public contest, nor does every provocation require an answer in the court of public opinion. There are times when restraint is not weakness but wisdom, and this is one of them,” he said.
Edoho also extended apologies to his sponsors, brand partners, collaborators, and professional associates whose reputations may have been affected by the controversy surrounding the allegations.
He described the period as particularly difficult for his children and appealed for their privacy to be respected while the legal process continues.
“This is an especially difficult period, most of all for my children, who neither chose this moment nor deserve to bear the weight of public intrusion arising from it. I respectfully ask that their privacy be protected, and that space be given for the lawful processes now underway to run their course,” he added.
Reaffirming his commitment to handling the situation responsibly, Edoho expressed confidence that the truth would eventually prevail.
“I know that truth does not become weaker because it is challenged, nor does character become diminished by accusation alone. I remain committed to handling this situation responsibly, respectfully, and with dignity,” he concluded.
