Seyi Tinubu Appoints High Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo as South East Zonal Leader for “Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria”
ABUJA, NIGERIA – In a strategic move to bolster regional support for the current administration, Seyi Tinubu has officially announced the appointment of High Chief Johnbosco Onunkwo as the South East Zonal Leader of the prominent advocacy group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN).
The appointment underscores the organization’s commitment to ensuring that the Renewed Hope Agenda resonates deeply within the South East geopolitical zone through grassroots mobilization and inclusive leadership.
The announcement was made during a high-profile session of national executives and state Cordinators in Abuja. High Chief Onunkwo, a renowned philanthropist, seasoned engineer, and prominent political figure, was selected based on his track record of community development and his ability to bridge the gap between the citizenry and the federal government.
Speaking on the appointment, the leadership emphasized that the South East remains a critical pillar in the national development strategy. High Chief Onunkwo has been charged with; Strengthening communication between the presidency and South East stakeholders ,Mobilizing support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic and social reforms and Coordinating state chapters within the zone to ensure a unified front for the RTIFN mission.
The Honourable Minister of Youth Mr Wisdom Ayodele told Mr Johnbosco Onunkwo to bring his wealth of experience to the role. He has been known for his extensive humanitarian work and his deep-rooted connections within the business and political spheres of the South East, his leadership is expected to drive a new era of economic advocacy and political engagement in the region,He said.
“This appointment is a testament to High Chief Onunkwo’s unwavering dedication to the Nigerian project. We are confident that under his guidance, the South East will see a clearer picture of the progress being made under the Renewed Hope Agenda,” the National Coordinator, Hon. Ahmed Bala, noted during the briefing.
This appointment coincides with RTIFN’s massive nationwide expansion, following the recent inauguration of state coordinators across the 36 states and the FCT. As the South East Zonal Leader, High Chief Onunkwo will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the message of “Relax, Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria” is not just heard, but felt through impactful community projects and innovative engagement strategies.
