BARR UJU KENNEDY-OHANENYE COMMENDS PRESIDENT TINUBU, CONGRATULATES BIANCA OJUKWU ON APPOINTMENT AS MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

The former minister of women affairs, Barr. Uju Kennedy Ohanenye has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for “his exemplary leadership and inclusive approach to governance,” following the appointment of a substantive Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bianca Ojukwu, from Anambra State.

She described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the administration’s commitment to fairness, national unity, and the recognition of competence across all regions of the country.

According to her, the elevation of Anambra State to this strategic position is both honourable and reassuring to the people of the state.

Barr. Ohanenye also extended her warmest congratulations to Bianca, whom she described as her sister, on her “well-deserved promotion.” She noted that Bianca’s distinguished pedigree, poise, and dedication to national service make her eminently qualified for the role.

“I am confident that my sister will bring dignity, excellence, and strong representation to Nigeria’s foreign relations, further strengthening our nation’s presence on the global stage,” she stated.

She wished the new Minister a successful and impactful tenure while reaffirming her support and goodwill.

Ohanenye further thanked Mr. President for what she described as a significant honour to Ndi Anambra.
